| Solomon Elects Board of Directors |

Armstrong, BC - Wednesday, December 2nd, 2009. Solomon Resources Limited (SRB: TSX-V) is pleased to report that at the Annual General Meeting of the Company held on November 30th, 2009 the following persons were elected to the Board of Directors of the Company: Randall Rogers, Ron Netolitzky, Steve Vaughan, and Paul Maarschalk. The Company reports that William Lindqvist chose not to stand for re-election at the Annual General Meeting. Solomon's President Randy Rogers observed: "Bill has been a tremendous value to the Company, and I have come to rely on his expertise and sound judgement. While he will no longer join us at the boardroom table, I'm extremely pleased to report that Bill has agreed to stay on in a consulting capacity as a technical advisor to the Company." The Board of Directors thanks Bill for his many years of service to the Company. Paul Maarschalk, currently Solomon's Chief Financial Officer and Corporate Secretary, was newly elected to the Board and brings many years of financial and corporate governance experience to the table. Rogers observed "Paul has been an integral part of the restructuring of Solomon and is engaged in the daily management and strategic decisions that help shape our future. I am proud to welcome him to the Board, and look forward to his continued engagement and using his business valuation expertise as we seek out new exploration opportunities for the Company."
