| Solomon appoints new CFO |

Larry Nagy, President and CEO of Solomon Resources Limited, is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Paul Maarschalk, BA (Hons.), B. Compt., CA, CBV as Chief Financial Officer and Corporate Secretary of Solomon effective immediately. Paul replaces Mr. Bob Evans who has retired after 15 years of service with Solomon. The Board of Directors wish Bob many years of happy retirement and will miss his presence on the Solomon team. Paul is a highly regarded Chartered Accountant and Chartered Business Valuator with extensive financial accounting experience as well as a background in investment banking and audit. Paul is associated with a large firm of Chartered Accountants, in Kelowna, B.C. and is the current President of the Rotary Club of Kelowna Ogopogo. Paul is also active in the Kelowna Chamber of Commerce and will be a welcome addition to the Solomon Management team. Solomon also reports the resignation of Mr. Dave Tupper, VP Exploration, effective January 15, 2008. During his five years of exemplary service, Dave was instrumental in the development of Solomon to its current status. Solomon wishes Dave every success in his new venture.
