In addition, Solomon staked the Basin 1 to 8 mineral claims totalling 203 units (approximately 3,650 ha) on March 2, 2006 over the same footprint as the above coal tenures.

The Bowron Basin property covers the entire Upper Eocene Bowron Sedimentary Basin, a package of coal bearing shale, siltstone and sandstone deposited within a roughly 17 km by 2.5 km, north west-south east trending graben-like structure. First discovered in outcrops by GM Dawson in 1870, the Bowron Basin hosts the Bowron Basin Coal Deposit, a historic, non 43-101 compliant underground resource of 49,904,208 tonnes from two seams of high quality thermal grade bituminous coal. This historic resource, part of a total potential resource estimated to exceed 350 million tonnes, was based on 16,593 m of drilling completed between 1975-80 (R. Berzosa, P.Eng, for Norco Resources Ltd. December 31, 1981).

During the 2006-07 field season, Solomon plans to complete a 3-5 hole drill program designed to confirm reported results.
