Vancouver, Canada, December 11, 2006 Solomon Resources Limited (SRB: TSX-V) is pleased to provide the following additional results from its Chandmani project as a supplement to its recent September 6 2006 news release. The results are from Solomons 2006 geological exploration work program on the Chandmani Project located within the Lake District of northwest Mongolia, 140 km southeast of the provincial capital of Hovd. Based on work completed in September 2006, additional assays have been received from Solomons Chandmani Project in northwest Mongolia, substantiating results previously reported on September 6, 2006.
The 2006 Solomon work has identified three oxidized, semi-massive sulphide skarn zones (KY-1, KY-1a and KY-2 Skarns) and a third large iron skarn zone (KY 3 Skarn) along a western flanking ridge in the Khavchig Yargait, or KY Prospect area of the Bumbat Hayrhan Uul mountain range. The skarn zones identified to date in the KY area are hosted within stratigraphically repeated, moderate steep west-northwest dipping limestone and limy siltstone beds at the southwest periphery to a large diorite stock. Figure 1 illustrates the geology of the KY Skarn area and the relative locations of the sampling reported in this and Solomons September 6, 2006 news release.
The 2006 field work is highlighted by identification of significant copper-gold skarn mineralization in the KY Prospect area, including the 75m exposure of the KY Skarn 1 Zone. In addition to new assays results from recent sample lines across the KY Skarn 1, weighted average copper results have also been recalculated for KY Sample Line 1 (September 6, 2006 news release) to include newly released high grade assay results of two samples, upgrading the weighted copper average value significantly from the previously reported averages.
The new KY Skarn 1 sample lines, KY Lines 10 and 11 are spaced 16 metres and 33 metres respectively down slope (west) from KY Sample Line 1 and produced similar results to KY Line 1 (Figures 1 and 2). Table 1 below summarizes the results from KY Sample Lines 10 and 11.

Two results originally reported for continuous chip sample numbers 52236 and 52238, taken as part of Solomons KY Sample Line 1 were from preliminary values reported as greater than 2.00% copper. However, the final assay values for each of these two samples are significantly higher (52236: 7.56% Cu, & 52238: 2.69% Cu), substantially raising the over all weighted average for KY Sample Line 1. The weighted average for KY Sample Line 1 is increased from 1.71% copper to 2.54% copper over a sample width of 32 metres.
The values for gold are not changed. All values are re-issued in Table 2 below:

Encouraging results were also received from a fourth skarn area, KY Skarn 1a, located roughly 200 metres northwest and 50 metres below KY Skarn 1 where chalcopyrite (±malachite) calc-silicate skarn mineralization is associated within limestone with cross cutting, steep dipping north-northwest trending structures. KY Sample Line 9 produced the following results.

The Chandmani property is comprised of 6 mining licenses totalling 58,342 hectares (583 km²), of which 5 licences totalling 35,413 hectares are subject to Solomons Option Agreement with Gallant Minerals Ltd.
In July and August 2006, Solomon geologists conducted a field program of property-wide regional geological mapping (1:25,000 & 1:50,000), stream sediment sampling and prospecting. More detailed geological mapping (1:5,000) and rock and soil sampling was completed on each of the KY, Chandmani and Yembuu Tolgoi areas. The results from this work and a more recent program of infill regional mapping, contour soil
sampling and follow-up prospecting done on the Chandmani property.

QA/QC
Solomon has implemented quality assurance and quality control measures in its exploration programs, including
the following:
- All field work is carried out under the supervision of Solomon geologists in accordance with procedures developed to conform to NI43-101.
- All analytical work is being completed at SGS Analabs Pty. Ltd. in Ulaanbaatar, and accredited Australia laboratory. In addition to the standard internal check and repeat assays undertaken by SGS Analab, Solomon staff have submitted its own blind standard and blank check samples at a rate exceeding 1 in 10. All check sample results received are within acceptable limits of variability.
- External check samples are undertaken at a rate of 1 in 10 samples for Solomon by ALS Chemex Labs in North Vancouver, BC. Results are still pending for the above reported samples. Past checks have repeatedly been within acceptable limits of variability.
