| Drilling Commences at Annie IOCG Project |

Solomon Resources Limited is pleased to announce that partner Peregrine Diamonds Ltd., a private Vancouver, BC company has begun drilling on Solomons Annie IOCG project in Region III of northern Chile. Peregrine contracted Quantec Geoscience Chile to complete magnetic and induced polarization geophysical surveys on the Barros Luco and Rey Salomon claims of the Annie property. A magnetic survey has been completed over the entire claim area, outlining a strong northeast trending linear magnetic anomaly extending the full length of the claim group. Three east-west IP lines have also been completed over key magnetic anomaly areas (UTM 6936800N, 6938400N and 6940800N) producing significant moderate chargeability anomalies roughly coincident with the magnetic highs. Drilling is designed to test a variety of chargeability highs and lows associated with magnetic anomalies with three 350m reverse circulation drill holes. Hole RC-A05-01 has been collared on line 6938400N. Two more holes are proposed to be completed on line 6936800N. As announced May 4, 2005, Peregrine acquired the option to earn up to an 80% interest in its Annie iron-oxide copper gold (IOCG) project in Region III of Chile. The 6,050 hectare Annie property is located 40 kilometres south of Copiapo in northern Chile and 25 kilometres west of the Phelps Dodge Candelaria copper-gold mine.
